Saturday Session Offerings

  • 1pm Decolonizing Christianity – A Pilgrimage of Faith, Loss, and Reclamation

This session invites participants on a three-part pilgrimage – Preparation, Journey, and Integration – to gently explore what it means to decolonize our Christian faith. For many of us, walking away from church also meant losing places of spiritual nourishment and safety. What might it look like to reclaim what’s been lost, compost what no longer serves, and rediscover connection to something sacred. Guided by Chrislyn Choo (she/her) & Ken Schoon (he/him).

  • 1pm Caring for Aging Elders

There will invariably be a time when we need to physically and financially care for our parents. Join us in this conversation circle if find yourself in this position. Questions about Wills, Trusts, DNRs, Estates welcome. Guided by Albert Wang (he/him).

  • 1pm What Our Bodies Know: The Fullest of Storytelling

Stories of traumas stay in our bodies across generations to impact our spirits. Join us as we express these stories and seek collective liberation through changing narratives. Guided by Yuri Yamamoto (they/she) & Rev. Tuhina Verma Rasche (she/her).

  • 2pm Living Ethically in an Unethical World

Are you struggling with how to maintain your integrity when the everyday choices you are making (about where to shop or what to buy/consume) seem to implicate you in a web of complicity? Let’s talk through these questions about right living and conscientious decision-making in the midst of difficult circumstances and uncertainty. Guided by Grace Kao (she/her).

  • 2pm Ancestral Healing – Coming Home Across Time

This session explores ancestral healing as a practice of spiritual reclamation, integration, and deep rest. Together, we’ll examine the wounds and wisdom passed down to us, and how tending to these threads can help restore a sense of wholeness – backward to our ancestors, and forward to those yet to come. Guided by Chrislyn Choo (she/her) & Ken Schoon (he/him).
