Yeobo Cafe + King Noodle
Yeobo Cafe and Bar: I'd like to recommend Yeobo Cafe and Bar! Yeobo is a gluten-free cafe serving comfort food with a Korean American twist. They're always welcoming & have lovely Korean and Korean-inspired drinks and great breakfast sandwiches in the mornings.
Instagram / GoFundMeLocation: 2332 E Madison St, Seattle (Capitol Hill/Madison Valley)
King Noodle: I think for comfort food I also like King Noodle - family-owned Chinese noodle restaurant, quick, easy comfort food in Chinatown/ID! right across from Hing Hay Park.
Location: 615 South King St, Seattle (Chinatown International District), just be mindful they close at 7:30pm

Hello Em, Gan Bei, Tendon Kohaku
Hello Em: Great Vietnamese cafe. It’s very community based and has history of Vietnamese immigration in Seattle. They have delicious banh mini (panini pressed bahn mi, I personally like the an sang with the pate and the eggs. And for drinks I would get anything with egg cream on it.
Gan Bei Bar: This place makes AMAZING fried chicken, its juicy, crispy and comes with gravy what’s not to love? They have great eel clay pot and I always order the fried smelt there. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like there.
Tendon Kohaku in Bellevue: This is a tempura rice bowl restaurant. All the food is delicious. It does get busy so I recommend going there to reserve a spot and then walking around Bellevue Square, a mall that is just around the corner while you wait. No matter how full you get, I recommend getting the sweet potato crème brulee.

Indigo Cow, Kamonegi, Chu Minh
Indigo Cow is my favorite soft serve spot in Seattle! They get their milk from Hokkaido, Japan, which is famous for their dairy.
Kamonegi is my favorite Japanese place. They serve soba and all the dishes I’ve had from them have been excellent. Reservations recommended.
Chu Minh Tofu has awesome veggie food and their owner, Tanya has been serving the community by providing free meals since 2018, spurring the mutual aid group called, “The Eggrolls”.
I have my own website for all my recommendations…
